Alan Sanderfoot founded Sanderfoot & Co. in 2001, continuing a successful career in publishing that included writing for and editing a variety of magazines in New York City. His thousands of articles have covered everything from retail and real estate to swimming pools and pool halls. He has also written three books.

Alan earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Journalism and English from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire, as well as a Master’s in Teaching from Concordia University–Wisconsin. While running Sanderfoot & Co., he has also spent time as an educator and conference director.
